Majid Pourostad

Majid is a Candidate for the Lawyer Licensing Process at the Law Society of Ontario and just completed Law Practice Program (LPP)'s training process at Toronto Metropolitan University and is currently a Student-at-Law at Buzaker Law Firm. He obtained the degree of Professional LLM in International Business Law from Osgoode Hall Law School, York University in Toronto as well as NCA's Certificate of Qualification from the Federation of Law Societies of Canada. Majid is also a Qualified Arbitrator certified by the ADR Institute of Canada in commercial matters and a Licensed Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC). 

 

Before moving to Canada, Majid was a practicing business lawyer with Iran's Central Bar Association since 2000. He was also a member of the Arbitration Center of Iran Chamber of Commerce (ACIC) and dealt with several business disputes. In addition, he took the degrees of LLB, LLM and PhD in Private Law from the University of Tehran and was a tenured Assistant Professor for Civil & Commercial Procedure, Commercial Arbitration Law, and Comparative Law at IAUCTB.
